The UNT Campus Planning Team from Page, now Stantec, was on campus February 18, 2026 to continue Phase 2: Ideation of the planning process. Refined concepts and some new transformational ideas were presented to the Steering Committee. Their feedback on these items will help guide the planning team in developing a draft plan, which will be further detailed during Phase 3: Synthesis over the coming months.

Additionally, two focus group sessions were had. The first was with Parking and Transportation stakeholders to review plan concepts and solicit feedback on how the plan can be strengthened to maximize it’s impacts on mobility to and through campus. The second was a Landscape Focus Group that discussed emerging landscape concepts as well as desirable (and undesirable) elements of potential landscape guidelines.
